STAGE ONE DISCOVERY CLASS This is a four week, one hour a week on Sunday morning class for visitors that want to know something about our RIBBI churches. Those who attend our churches are asked to take this class in order to become a member of the church. NEW BELIEVERS CLASS This is a six week, one hour a week on Sunday morning class for new members that we ask every one to take before beginning with one on one discipleship training. The five areas covered are: The Penetration of our Church The Perspective of our Church The Participation of each member of our Church The Peculiarities of every person in our Church The Panorama of our Church
STAGE TWO
DISCIPLESHIP ONE A 16 lesson course that is taught "one on one" to members of our RIBBI churches who have already taken the Discovery and New Members class. Each lesson is divided into two one and one half hour sessions and the entire process will last between 8 to 10 months. The objective with Discipleship One is to teach the disciple “How to obey God in everything”. The sixteen lessons are divided up into three FOUNDATIONS, five TOOLS, seven DEMANDS and one REASON in order to be able to “Obey God in Everything.” Salvation Eternal Security Baptism The Holy Spirit The Word of God Prayer The Will of God The Local Church Other Christians Giving Money and Possessions Dealing with Sin Liberty In Christ My Job and Employer The Lost World Judgment Seat of Christ FIRST STEPS “First Steps” is a course designed to be taught in group form and begins as soon as lesson FIVE of Discipleship One is completed. “First Steps” runs simultaneously with Discipleship One. Both are programmed to finish at the exact same time and will take the disciple to the point of being able to (1) lead a soul to receive Christ as personal Savior and (2) Disciple that new believer. “First Steps” consists of two sections: Section One - REACHING THE LOST Missions - God's Commission of the Task. Evangelism, Visitation and Counseling - Our Completion of the Task. Section Two - ARMING THE BELIEVER The Path - The Plan of God. The Protection - Intercessory Prayer. The Power - Fasting . The Purpose - An Analysis of the Great Commission. The Procedure - The A, B, C, D of Discipleship.
STAGE THREE
DISCIPLESHIP TWO A 300 page, Five Phase divided into SIX PARTS, two year course, that is taught in a "classroom" atmosphere upon successful completion of Discipleship I and First Steps. “Discipleship Two” is designed to produce the leadership that is needed in any church in order for that body of Christ to MULTIPLY as it should. PHASE I - Character and Spiritual Qualities Character Qualities of a Man of God. Spiritual Qualities of a Man of God. SON'S OF THUNDER Phase One – Pupils – Defining a Saint. GENERAL PRINCIPLES – Teaching (Doctrine) OBJECTIVE: To teach the disciple the definition of being a “saint”. The disciple should learn to give his or her testimony and the general principles for studying and articulating Biblical doctrines. They are “PUPILS” in the process of Expository Preaching. Phase Two – Participant – Dedication of a Servant. GENERAL PRINCIPLES – Reproving OBJECTIVE: to reprove the disciple regarding his or her dedication as a servant of God. The disciple must learn to study the Bible with greater efficiently and start to preach expositive messages. They are “PARTICIPANTS” in the process of Expository Preaching Phase Three – PRACTITIONERS - Determination of a Soldier. GENERAL PRINCIPLES – Correct (make straight) OBJECTIVE: Correct the disciple in order to make straight their determination to be a good soldier of Jesus Christ. The disciple should learn how to better his or her study and presentation of their expository messages. They are “PRACTITIONERS” in the process of Expository Preaching. Phase Four – PERSEVERES – Devotion of a Priest GENERAL PRINCIPLES – Instruct (Discipline) OBJECTIVE: To instruct the disciple in the discipline of a true leader. To prove and appreciate their devotion as a good spiritual priest. The disciple should learn how to preach a “global” message, what it is to present an impacting message to any ethnic group in any geographical location and under any variety of circumstances. They pare pressured and proven to see if in effect they have a genuine consecration. They are “PERSEVERES” in the process of Expository Preaching.
STAGE FOUR
BIBLE INSTITUTE A ONE year study of the Bible and ministry related courses that is still in the process of being formulated, commonly referred to as the INSTITUTO BÍBLICO BAUTISTA INTERNATIONAL. To be invited to take classes at IBBI, one must first be involved in a ministry of the Word of God. Secondly, the student must be recommended by one of the pastors and/or leaders of their church and have gone through the first three stages of discipleship. As a requirement for graduation from the Institute, each student MUST have attended at least two CIMA conferences and taken “The Introduction To Biblical Discipleship” and “Leadership” courses offered during these weeks of missionary celebration. They must also have actively participated and ministered the Word of God on two missionary trips. By "missionary trip" we do not mean a "tourist trip", but rather a "discipleship trip". One of these trips is to be taken to a church within Mexico and the other, to a foreign country and for a minimum of two weeks total |
